The film was simultaneously made in the Malayalam and Tamil languages with slightly different casts. Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Simhaa play the pivotal roles in both the versions. The whole film is set within one day in the city of Chennai. The music is scored by debutant Rajesh Murugesan while Anand C. Chandran handles the cinematography and Putharen the editing himself
